A Few Terms Explained

Environmental Protection

The higher the numerical rating on this chart, the better the battery is for the environment; the lower the number, the more damaging it is.

Raw Material Supply

If raw materials supplies are plentiful, easy, reliable and inexpensive, the battery will receive a high rating. If not, the rating will be low.

Energy Density

Similar to Specific Energy, it refers to the amount of energy per unit of volume or mass.

Temperature Range

The more a battery is able to cope with temperature ranges of hot and cold the higher the rating.

Discharge Efficiency

Batteries can lose energy through the creation of heat when discharging. This loss of energy would cause it to be given a low rating. A high rating is reserved for cells that do not lose much of its stored energy through heat or other means.


Batteries that are easy to explode and cause fire or are radioactive receive a low rating. The safer the cell, the higher the rating.

Synthesizing Feasibility

Cells which can be produced easily receive higher ratings than those which need to be produced using expensive processes like oxygen-free chambers etc.

High Discharge

Referring to the discharge capacity, the amount of energy stored that is usable. Some, like lead acid can only use 50% of the stored energy. Others, like LFPO can use more than 90%.
A battery’s ability to maintain over 80% for over 2000 cycles, for instance, would receive a high rating.


Refers to the battery’s lifespan. The longer the lifespan the higher the rating.


Refers to the upfront and year-over-year cost of purchase and ownership. If the costs are high, the affordability is low, but if the product is reasonably priced and long lasting its value is high and so is its affordability.

Voltage Monitoring

Our patented BMS provides each single-pack with its own self- monitoring and self-management system. Unlike typical sequential voltage monitoring systems, our BMS gathers and delivers voltage information of all battery packs, detecting each cell’s voltage during charging and discharging.


Adjusting voltage balance of each battery cell, prevents any single cell from operating at a high voltage continuously. Our BMS also maintains consistent voltage to each cell. By doing so, the durability of serial/parallel battery cell systems is significantly enhanced.

Environment and Safety

Non toxic, RoHS compliant.

Contains no lead, mercury, cadmium, radioactive cobalt, or acid. Our batteries use a natural process - rust. Yet, unlike typical lead acid batteries, LFPO batteries are not corrosive.
