Lithium-iron Ferrous Phosphorous Oxide (LFPO) is not toxic

A smaller footprint is now possible due to LFPO, an affordably safe, nontoxic alternative to toxic, radioactive batteries. Creating award-winning energy density and long life batteries, CAEC is setting new global standards for energy storage.

What Does “RoHS Compliant” Mean?

Originating in the European Union, a standard was developed, known as RoHS; (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) restricting the use of hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. These materials include Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers.

LFPO Batteries

LFPO batteries produced by CAEC are fully RoHS compliant. Our batteries contain no Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls, Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers, cadmium or radioactive cobalt. Until recently, toxic lead acid has been the only affordable choice for consumers. For the sake of our health, and that of our planet, change is required. Our scientists have endeavored to do just that. At CAEC, we have developed, not only proven patented RoHS compliant batteries, but also patented processes and strong partnerships that allow us to provide powerful products affordably.
